St. Timothy uses both the Contemporary and Liturgical styles of worship. The two styles of worship offer many opportunities for involvement by a variety of people and groups within St. Timothy. A nursery is available for small children. The Contemporary style of worship is at 8:30 a.m. This service is lead by song leaders with guitars, keyboards, flute and other instruments. A children’s sermon is provided each week. The Liturgical style of worship is at 11:00 a.m. At this service you will find the Clavinova being used along with violins. A children’s sermon is provided each week. The Chancel Choir sings on Sunday mornings rotating between the two services. They rehearse one night a week (currently Wednesday) as selected by them. If you like to sing, new voices are always welcome. The Chimes Choir, youth and adult, is a group of handchime ringers. They participate in worship at various times during the year. They to welcome anyone who would like to learn how to play a chime. The Motion Choir, for younger children through adult, illustrates the meaning of lovely contemporary Christian music through a combination of motion, dance and signing for the deaf. |
